Dear ATR Members, Officers, Families, and Friends,

This Thanksgiving, I am deeply grateful for everyone who has helped the Association of Tennis Recreationals grow into such a vibrant and welcoming community. Six years ago, three founders began organizing community tennis tournaments; three years ago, ATR was formally incorporated. Today, more than 1,000 participants have joined our tournaments, summer ladder matches, free hitting sessions, and partner-matching activities.

Our community now extends across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia, with new chapters being prepared in Pennsylvania and New York. I am also proud that ATR has donated more than $5,000 to nonprofit organizations supporting social benefit and medical advancement, including our second year of giving to The Children's Inn at NIH.

Thank you to every community member and ATR officer. I especially commend our graduating senior officers for their leadership, service, sportsmanship, and dedication. They'll carry the ATR spirit to college like seeds—spreading friendship, sportsmanship, and love of tennis, just as our former ATR officers and honorees have done.

Oversees the association's media and communications.

Mei has been a cornerstone of our outreach, expanding ATR into diverse communities. As the first officer to join ATR after its incorporation, she helped shape the organization from its earliest chapter. Her exceptional camera techniques, creativity, and storytelling skills have greatly strengthened ATR's visibility, identity, and community impact.

Tomas Mulita

Ranking System Specialist

Runs the ranking system ATR uses to rate its players.

Tomas has made an essential contribution by developing and maintaining the ranking system that guides team lineups and summer ladder seedings. His work applies sophisticated mathematical, statistical, and probability models to produce fair, consistent, and data-driven rankings, strengthening both competition and confidence throughout the ATR community.

Jiajing, a Maryland MPSSAA Class 4A Girls' Doubles State Champion and ATR tournament champion, accepted invitation to be an ATR officer and a strong role model for younger players, guiding them on court and helping organize community tournaments.
